American Express Membership Rewards — transfers to Flying Club in increments of 1,000. Amex runs bonus periods, sometimes 30% extra, and transferring during one rather than outside it is free money for the sake of waiting.
Tesco Clubcard — exchanges at 1 Clubcard point to 2 Virgin Points. Bonus promotions appear here too, and they usually require converting a full voucher rather than loose points.
Hotel and other partner schemes — several convert into Virgin Points, generally at worse rates than the two above.

Transfers are one-way and final. Points cannot be moved back out of Flying Club, so transfer when you have a booking in mind rather than speculatively.
